It also provides guidance for restructuring spreader maintenance in a way that will address this. Interestingly, the application came about through collaborating with a major European terminal and helped it lift its spreader performance by around 400%.<\/p>\n<p>Another of these applications, the Fleet Doctor, provides continuous monitoring of the spreader fleets operating functions (such as expand\/retract and twistlock functions) in order to detect and identify performance issues, flagging up when performance drops off.<\/p>\n<p>The application also provides very specific diagnosis of the source of faults when spreader downtime occurs, mapping past fault areas as a guide to identifying \u201crisk areas\u201d.
