The new rate of AE$800 per truck represents a significant 33.3% reduction on previous tariffs.<\/p>\n
Tackling the issue of costs in the supply chain is hot on ADPC\u2019s agenda. Mohamed Al Shamisi, EVP Ports, ADPC, said: \u201cDeveloping the most cost effective infrastructure and delivery is crucial to maintaining and supporting a healthy supply chain.”<\/p>\n
He described the MoU as being \u201ca clear recognition between two key parties in that chain of the advantages of both increasing efficiency and managing cost.\u201d<\/p>\n

But this is only part of ADPC\u2019s wider plan to get a better deal for customers.
