TT Club's storm warnings

Industry Database

The TT Club's revised edition of its comprehensive risk mitigation guide for windstorms, offers valuable information and advice on how to minimise storm damage to installations and customers' cargoes.

This second edition has been developed and published jointly with ICHCA International, and notes in its introduction that ports are particularly exposed to the forces of nature.

With storm damage accounting for some of the biggest losses in the industry, "the responsibility of a mutual insurer such as TT extends to more than just picking up the bill", comments Peregrine Storrs-Fox of TT Club.
