Cavotec celebrates European opening

Industry Database

John Polatz, investor relations director with New Zealand-headquartered Cavotec MSL, believes the newly-signed contract with Denmark's Nordic Ferry Services will prove vital to sales of its vacuum mooring units in Europe.

"It's our first true order in Scandinavia ... it's the first major order since the two companies joined together," he said.

"It puts us on the map in another part of the world where there's a lot of ferry and other types of port and container traffic."
