Dave MacIntyre has covered the ports and shipping scene for over 30 years, first as a specialist writer for the New Zealand capital city (Wellington) paper The Evening Post and latterly as a commentary columnist for the country’s main transportation publication, the New Zealand Shipping Gazette, where his son Iain is the main news reporter. Now covering the Australasian scene for Port Strategy, Dave MacIntyre has won three industry awards for transportation and maritime journalism. His other skills include editing publications and managing major printing projects.
