Getting short sea shipping better connected
This year’s Coastlink Conference will focus on building connectivity between shortsea shipping and intermodal networks.
Over 13 and 14 May 2020, the conference, which is this year being held at the Port of Antwerp in Belgium, will include informative presentations and panel discussions designed to encourage open discussion and audience participation.
Session topics will include a market sector overview, industry challenges and new opportunities for the industry, aimed at arming delegates the knowledge to help make their operation more profitable.
Added to this, delegates will have the opportunity to network with key industry professionals from Unifeeder, Fast Group, Port of Tyne and Peel Ports Group, among others, enabling them to develop relationships to help build a sustainable future.
Included in the delegate package is the full conference programme, lunch and refreshments on both days and the conference dinner on the evening of 13 May.
The package also includes a technical visit to the Shortsea Shipping Terminal at the Port of Antwerp giving delegates the opportunity to see how the port’s inland shipping operation connects to subsequent intermodal networks.
