NO TRUCK WITH RAIL DEAL

An estimated 3,000 annual truck movements are expected to be taken from North Island roads following an agreement between Heinz Watties,Toll NZ and the Port of Napier.The contract involves the recommissioning of a rail siding at the producers Tomoana site and the introduction of dedicated fixed-rake wagons to move the export product through to the port.
