Frank Robotham to leave Liverpool after 31 years

According to an internal announcement by Peel Ports group chief executive Stephen Baxter, Mr Robotham has decided to leave “to pursue other interests”.

“Frank will leave the company in July and until then I will be working closely with him over the coming months to ensure a smooth handover,” said the announcement. “In particular, I will be picking up the key customer contacts until we hire a new group marketing director.”

Peel is also looking to recruit a head of business development for Mersey.

A well-known and respected figure in the industry, Frank Robotham was previously marketing director of Mersey Docks and Harbour Co before its acquisition by Peel in 2005.

A spokesman for Peel said: “Frank Robotham has resigned. We thank him for his contribution over the years and wish him all the best for the future.”
