Red Sea Gateway gets going

The completion of the first phase of Jeddah Islamic Ports newest world-class container facility, Red Sea Gateway Terminal (RSGT), was recently celebrated with the arrival of UASCs Al Muttanabi. Located at the northern end of the Jeddah Islamic Port (JIP), the 1.8m teu, second-generation terminal constructed under a buil-operate-transfer agreement with the Saudi Port Authority, is due to be fully completed by third quarter 2010.
