Global shipping fleet feeling affect of congestion

In Australia, Brazil, Indonesian and China, 159 capesize vessels were waiting to either load or discharge cargo, equivalent to 15% of the global fleet of capesize vessels. Australia was by far the most congested destination, with 72 vessels waiting at anchor. A similar situation pertained to both panamax and handymax bulk carriers, although the situation in China, Brazil and Indonesian was also giving some cause for concern.
