Predictive scheduling tool launched
A new port scheduling system has been developed to predict where future problems may arise – and then also help to re-plan accordingly.
Developed by Cirrus Logistics, Seaberth, is a multi-user tool which also provides visibility along the supply chain, delivering reports that can be easily shared.
Cirrus has also introduced an intensive re-plan feature able to focus on a small number of specified vessels, plus the tool may be configured to automatically close up gaps in the schedule following a re-plan taking into account the availability of berths, ships and resources.
