Sines win from North African disruption

The Portuguese port of Sines could benefit from the current instability at ports across the Middle East, claims the president of CIP. If access to the Suez Canal becomes increasingly difficult, it may result in ships being sent around Africa, therefore making Sines more attractive to shipping lines, especially those involved in the transport of petroleum.
