Dragados-SPL rebrands as Noatum Ports

Dragados-SPL – the Spanish port terminal operator with equity stakes in container operations in Bilbao, Valencia, Malaga and Las Palmas, and in general cargo terminals in Santander, Castellón and Sagunto – has been renamed Noatum Ports.

The new entity recently increased its capital by €9m ($12.8m), allowing it to create two subsidiaries: Noatum Port Holdings and Noatum Maritime Holdings, the first of which will contain its container terminal interests and those it has in stevedoring, while the latter will absorb activities of Marmedsa.

At the same time, the group has moved its headquarters from Madrid to Valencia.
