DP World goes all-electric in Sydney
DP World’s Port Botany terminal will receive four Kalmar E-One2 rubber-tyred gantry cranes by the end of the year.
Cargotec is to supply DP World with four of its eight-wheeled, all-electric Kalmar E-One2 RTGs featuring load capacities of 41 tonnes and the ability to stack containers 8+1 wide and 1-over-5 high.
Meanwhile, Russia’s National Container Company has chosen Cargotec for the supply of five straddle carriers. The 7+ generation Kalmar CSC340 straddle carriers, will be deployed at First Container Terminal in St Petersburg.
Delivery of the units is expected in this quarter.
