Italians mull port privatisation

A report – expected to be released by mid-October – looks at the possibility of selling off all terminals.

There are already potential buyers in place: Cosco, which runs neighbouring Piraeus, already manages the container terminal in Naples in partnership with MSC, but is said to be interested in owning the entire port.
