Lasstec helps prevent accidental lifting
An incident on the quay, caused by twistlocks not being fully disengaged or getting jammed in the castings, can hold-up operations and result in costly repairs.
However, the Lasstec Load Sensing and Accident Prevention System is now available to alert the crane operator of the danger or interact directly with the crane control system to immediately stop the hoist mechanism.
Trailer Lifting Detection is achieved via a software extension in the control unit. At constant hoist speed, the problem is detected before a maximum 1 metre of lifting height, quick enough to prevent major damage.
