Emerson overhauls Cortés crane drives
Control specialist Emerson Industrial Automation is to modernise the motor control system on an aging port crane in Puerto Cortés, Honduras.
Emerson will supply an all-new, fully integrated drive and control system featuring its Unidrive SP AC drives and Leroy-Somer FLS AC motors to replace the existing motor-generator set and DC motors.
