IPC Jakarta expansion makes progress
State-owned port operator, Indonesia Port Corporation (IPC), is making progress with its NewPriok Container Terminal I in the country’s capital, Jakarta, as shown in a newly released video.
The project aims to build a more efficient national logistics network that will attract more investment into Indonesia.
It’s expected to increase Jakarta’s port capacity through increasing the port’s water depth to 20m in order to accommodate largest and newer vessel types with more than 10,000 teu capacity that are currently unable to dock in the country.
