Esbjerg secures rig deal with Maersk Drilling
Maersk Drilling has entered a framework agreement with the Port of Esbjerg for new opportunities to position more rigs at the port.
This aims to provide Maersk Drilling with new facilities for its rigs during services and in-between jobs.
Port of Esbjerg hopes the agreement can strengthen its position in the industry, and continue to provide flexible solutions to industry specialists.
The deal will also provide new job opportunities to multiple companies at the port.
An extension to the Maersk Group’s hub for rig services and positioning means that multiple stages of the company’s activities and operations can take place at the same location in Esbjerg.
