Konecranes wins repeat Noatum order
Konecranes is set to deliver six more RTGs to the Noatum Container Terminal in Valencia, Spain.
The order was confirmed in June 2016 and when the cranes are delivered in spring next year they will be the company’s fifth delivery to the terminal.
Gustavo Ferrer, terminal manager of Noatum, said: “I have been working with Konecranes for years and we have a good relationship. The cranes are reliable and high-performing. Konecranes’ local service, based in Valencia, is excellent.”
The RTGs on order will have a lifting capacity of 40 tonnes while stacking one-over-five containers high and six plus truck lane wide.
Each crane will be equipped with Konecranes’ Active Load Control and Diesel Fuel Saver systems.
“Winning a repeat order is always very satisfying, because it shows that we’re doing some very important things right. We’ll do our very best to keep earning Noatum’s trust,” concluded Antti Halonen, sales manager, Konecranes.
Noatum Container Terminal Valencia is one of the main gateways for the Iberian Peninsula and the natural port of Madrid.
