ABB wins shore power contract

Digital technology group ABB has won a contract from Vancouver Fraser Port Authority to provide a shore-to-ship power supply solution for Global Container Terminals (GCT) Deltaport at the Port of Vancouver.

Vessels will be able to connect to Canadian electric utility BC Hydro onshore instead of using diesel generators
