Finance rescheduled for ports in Madeira

According to an official announcement, the rescheduling is being undertaken while taking into account investment expenses, especially in respect of the need to strengthen the protection around the southern quay of the Port of Funchal, where desorption – a phenomenon whereby a substance is released from or through a surface – has become a problem. Further cash is earmarked for repairing the Port of Porto Santo, and also to undertake repairs at the ports of Funchal, Caniçal and Machico, following storm damage on December 10, 2013.
