Yuji Mitsutake

Mr. Yuji Mitsutake has been engaged in maritime related business since 1990 in Port and Harbor Bureau of Kitakyushu. He has been mainly in charge of management, operation, marketing and promotion of the port.

In the 1990s, he had been dispatched by the Ministry of Transport to some overseas port development sites as a researcher of Official Development Aid. In the year of 1995-1996, in the Republic of Panama, he was involved in Panama Canal Rehabilitation Project and in charge of management and operation system after control of the canal returns to Panama from the United State. From 1996 until 1997, he was in the Republic of Indonesia as a demand forecaster of feasibility study team on National Ferry Network Service.

Port and Harbor Bureau of Kitakyushu launched a project of Green Energy Port Hibiki in 2010, and he has been responsible for the whole project until now.
