Alycia Gilde
Alycia Gilde is the Northeast Regional Director at CALSTART, a national nonprofit clean transportation organization and is responsible for managing the expansion of clean transportation programs and policies in the northeast. Ms. Gilde oversees a number of program initiatives including; the Northeast Diesel Collaborative (NEDC) Strategic Planning Committee, Northeast Clean Freight Corridors Initiative, NYSERDA’s $19 million all-electric and alternative fuel vehicle incentive program, the New York Truck – Voucher Incentive Program (NYT-VIP) and Charge to Work NY, a NYSERDA-funded Electric Vehicle Workplace Charging and Stakeholder Engagement Initiative for New York City, Westchester and Long Island. Ms. Gilde also manages marketing and outreach programs for the California Air Resources Board’s Vehicle Voucher Incentive Program (HVIP) and the City of Chicago’s a $14 million incentive program, Drive Clean Chicago.
Prior to CALSTART, Ms. Gilde managed some of the nation’s largest transportation emission reduction programs including; The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Regional Truck Replacement Program, the Hunts Point Clean Trucks Program, and marketing and outreach for the Ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles Clean Truck Programs. Ms. Gilde graduated from the University of Connecticut with a B.A. in Global Environmental Mass Media and served in the Peace Corps for two years in Ghana, West Africa as an Environment Volunteer and as the National Gender and Youth Development Coordinator. In 2017, Ms. Gilde received an Environmental Champion Award from the United States Environmental Protection Agency and The Responsible 100 CSR Award for Sustainability from City and State NY.
