Mauricio Lacayo
Mauricio manages the strategy to drive energy efficiency and fuel cost reduction projects throughout the entire corporation. His current roles also include developing, managing and analyzing operational budgets for bunker and hedging for ~ $1 billion in annual spend. Over his 9 year career in the Cruise Line Industry, he has accrued extensive experience with project management, Capex planning, process and operational improvements. In addition he also oversees the execution of all Hydrodynamic, Machinery & Electrical projects and tracks the company’s long range goals towards GHG reduction. His dedicated fleet optimization leadership spans: deployment, newbuild, emission abatement, fuel/emission regulation and procurement.
Mauricio holds a BS Degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering from the University of Florida, and a MS Degree in Engineering Management from Florida International University.
