Michael Mengelt has 17 years’ experience in various Geotechnical Engineering duties in projects world-wide in both the onshore and offshore environment. His work focuses on energy and industrial projects, with significant involvement in site reconnaissance and planning, investigations, design, tendering, construction management, and construction phase supervision. His specialties cover geological and geotechnical explorations and site investigations, soft soil stabilization and engineering, testing of earth materials, geotechnical design, ground improvement, and QA/QC procedures for earthwork construction. He has working knowledge in various international standards and their use in different construction projects. Experience has been gained through projects in the United States, Europe, the former Soviet Union, Africa, South America, and Asia.
