Hydroelectric shore power for Québec

The Port of Québec is advancing a 16 MW shore power project at Berth 30 to support lower-emission cruise operations on the Saint Lawrence.

Scheduled for completion in 2028, the port electrification project will enable compatible cruise vessels to connect directly to Québec’s hydroelectric power grid while alongside.
