Ports operate in a complex environment with many different stakeholders, from local communities and governments to investors, shipping lines, terminals and environmental organisations. Each of them has their own interests and expectations, and each can bring both risks and opportunities for a port.

So how do you manage these different interests? What do stakeholders need from a port and what can they offer in return?

In this interactive workshop by ECOSLC and ESPO, we will explore stakeholder engagement in a practical and fun way. We will share some insights, exchange experiences and, through a fictional case involving our very own Port of Improvement, experience what happens when different stakeholder perspectives come together.

Expect an informal session with plenty of interaction, where everyone can contribute and hopefully leave with some new ideas to take back to their own organisation.
