GreenPort Congress
The 22nd edition of GreenPort Congress will be hosted by the Port of Bilbao in 2027 – dates to be confirmed.
The 21st edition of GreenPort Congress was hosted by Portsmouth International Port from 7–9 October 2026.
The conference provided decision makers from the port community – port authorities, terminal operators, shipping lines and logistics operators – with a meeting place to learn about and discuss the latest developments in sustainable port operations and environmental practice, enabling them to implement the changes needed to reduce their carbon footprint and become more sensitive to environmental considerations.
The conference covered a wide range of themes, including water quality and scarcity, infrastructure for stronger ports, innovations for decarbonisation, shoreside sustainability and onshore power. Delegates also heard from sector leaders on how regulatory updates will affect port operations.
In partnership with Portsmouth International Port, GreenPort Congress 2026 was the perfect opportunity to understand the challenges and opportunities in port decarbonisation and sustainability.
