Major coal port for Vietnam

Vietnams Tan Tao (ITA) group has issued a tender for the construction of a power plant and sea port complex in Kien Giang province, some 300 kilometres from Ho Chi Minh City.

The port will cover an area of 300 hectares, being divided between a coal terminal and a smaller cargo terminal. Work is to begin later this year and take 48 months to complete.
