ABB has won a US$52m contract for automation and electrical systems to serve the new Euromax container terminal in Rotterdam.
Organisations typically connect SEABERTH to their terminal control systems enabling a two-way information dialogue. Essentially, SEABERTH mimics the real situation in a virtual, risk-free IT environment enabling users to employ more of their time to improve and rationalise the use of the terminal to best business effect.
ABB will supply automation and electrical systems for 76 terminal cranes, including 16 ship-to-shore units, 58 unmanned RMGs and two intermodal gantry units.
