Gantry cranes
The third of five gantry cranes was taken ashore at berth 1 of the Eurogate Container Terminal Hamburg from ZPMCs ZHEN HUA 8. ZPMC ensured the 1,800 ton giant was pulled onto the quay wall when the water level was at its highest.
The Black Sea represents a significant potential market for Gottwald. “It was only last year that Gottwald entered the Romanian market with two units of the HMK 300 E, and now our long-standing efforts to conquer the Bulgarian market have also been rewarded, ” says regional sales manager HeinzGunter Hippler.
With the pylon heads reaching a height of 80 metres, these cranes are currently the tallest throughout Europe. The 141 metre long outrigger spans 21 rows of containers.
