Gottwald Launches Generation 5
To coincide with its 100th anniversary this summer Gottwald has launched a new generation of harbour cranes.
In keeping with its holistic approach, the manufacturer has applied its Generation 5 philosophy across its range covering the HMK mobiles, the HSK portals and the HPK pontoons.
Three new models, 6, 7 & 8, will be presented available in numerous variants and positioned at the upper end of the lifting capacity range from 70 to 200 tonnes. Gottwald claims both the design and the equipment of all the models are a quantum leap in harbour crane technology.
The new models will replace the current HMK300 E, HMK330 EG and HMK360 E/EG models and their counterparts in the HSK and HPK types.
“They will considerably outperform these cranes in terms of lifting capacity, equipment level, versatility and degree of specialization, ” says the company.
