Kalmar adds software specialist
Port equipment specialist Kalmar has purchased Netherlands-based Advanced Cargo Transhipment BV (ACT) to further the development of its automated technology.
ACT focuses on developing and marketing equipment navigation control and terminal operation control hardware and software for logistics systems and processes using automated vehicles and equipment, including straddle and shuttle carriers.
