Kongsberg eye on Rijeka
Vesseltracking specialist Kongsberg is to supply ship monitoring and port managementsolutions to the Port of Rijeka. All componentswill be installed by the second quarter and training is also included as partof the contract.
Smartspot is designed to optimise container handling between terminal tractors and ship-to-shore (STS)/rubber-tyred gantry (RTG) cranes, replacing manual positioning with an automatic system.
