Max Stable features an eight-rope reeving system without auxiliary ropes and a new angular sheave scheme that in combination stabilise the load allowing faster, more accurate positioning of the spreader,Kalmar claims.

Liebherr has delivered a LHM 400 mobile harbour crane to stevedore BUSS in Sassnitz. Equipped with a motor grab control system and four-rope configuration, the multi-purpose machine is suitable for break-bulk cargo and container handling. The total orders of the BUSS Group for six cranes to date makes up almost 50% of all the Liebherr MHCs sold to Germany in the last 10 years. Sassnitz is the only port in Germany to allow the handling of wagons with Russia’s wider rail gauge.
