New floodlight shines bright

The manufacturers claim that the VL64 Equal Plus zone one floodlight has the largest aperture of any frontentry floodlight on the market, promising strong output and providing highly effective light distribution. The operating temperature range goes from -20°C to +70°C (dependant upon lamp type).

The product has been developed for hazardous area installation in both offshore and onshore environments, specifically obstructions, jetties, tank farms or as security and perimeter lighting. Manufactured from corrosion resistant aluminium alloy (LM6), the floodlight has a pre-drilled stirrup bracket complete with aiming quadrant for easy installation. A separate Ex ‘e’ increased safety terminal chamber, removing the need for technical glanding, reduces installation costs.
