A new rapid deployment perimeter protection system claims to provides a cost effective covert security solution to protect portable assets, such as plant and high value metals, as well as perimeter locations.
The TripGuard system has a wireless transmitter containing a two-kilometre reel of fibre optic cable with a thickness equivalent to fine human hair. The moment an intruder breaks this cable, an alarm is transmitted to a receiver that can be located up to 300 metres away.
The cable can be easily adjusted to any length and positioned to eliminate false alarms.
