QUIETER WATERS FOR LONDONS RIVER

Halyard Marine has helped achieve lower noise levels on the Thames with a new exhaust system fitted to a Port of London Authority (PLA) survey vessel. The PLA is responsible for surveying the riverbed and shoreline for 90 miles of the tidal River Thames. At its latest refit, the largest survey vessel in their fleet, Verifier, has been fitted with a specially-designed Halyard exhaust system. This has made a substantial cut in ” pass-by” noise and internal reverberation.
