Following sales to ABP in King’s Lynn last year and Folkestone Harbour in March, Hydrex Equipment has sold a third Fuchs MHL380 wheeled re-handling machine, this time to CatteDown Wharves in Plymouth. In Folkestone the MHL380 is being used for discharging animal feed and fertiliser deploying a 5 cu metre grab whereby a 16-ton road truck can be loaded in three passes. The machine is also used for working steel scrap and logs, typically for discharging direct to truck or discharging to and re-loading directly from quay.
