As yard space becomes an increasing problem, careful forklift truck selection to optimise yard space should be a growing concern on dock.
Manufacturer Hyster has unveiled its solution to the space problem with its Fortens range of 1.6-7T diesel and LPG forklift trucks. Hyster claims this range delivers higher capacity at high lift heights, in a compact chassis design.
The 5.0T and 5.5T Fortens models have been engineered to deliver this lifting capacity at a 600mm load centre, rather than 500mm.
