TIDEWORKS KICKS OFF BREAKBULK SYSTEM IN FLORIDA
Tideworks has introduced its Wise Product Suite at SSA GULF Tampa Terminal in Florida. This is the first deployment of the product in the Americas although the Wise products are currently used in Europe.
While training, the company says, the following skills are formed: operating and terminal capacity distribution, as well as the ability to monitor and memorise all the operations occurring in the complicated pipe net of terminal systems; and to react adequately to technological and weather changes, taking the systems technical capabilities into consideration. In addition, the trainee is required to evaluate the possible consequences of personnel operations, as well as changes in the technological operation chain, plus new possibilities and limitations.
Products in the suite used by Tampa include WiseTerm, for managing multipurpose cargo terminals, WiseCare, for warehousing and inventory control, WiseStuff for container vanning and devanning, and WiseTalk, an advanced tool for communicating with customers and third parties.
