Burgas issues terminal tender

The Bulgarian government has issued a tender in respect of privatisation of Terminal 2A at the port of Burgas. This container handling facility, offering a 268,000 m² terminal served by 870 m of quay, will be available as a 35-year concession.

It is thought that only the private sector will be able to fund modernisation at the port, with the concession calling for €12.5m ($17.7m) over the first seven years.
