Canal port for the Netherlands
A container terminal is to be built at the Medel Business Park in Tiel.
Construction will start next year, involving a 200 m long quay on the Amsterdam-Rhine Canal. It is expected to handle 40,000 boxes annually, with capacity for 80,000.
