Forth Ports accepts Arcus bid

Arcus European Infrastructure Fund has agreed a £760m takeover of Forth Ports, where it had previously been the biggest shareholder. The move comes on the back of a 20% increase in pre-tax profits to £56.3m and a 5% increase in revenue to £181.9m. Forth Ports operates six Scottish ports and also Tilbury in the port of London.
