Lowestofts windy business boost

Lowestoft’s Outer Harbour is to be used to house the necessary operational support facilities for the turbines, which will be located 15 miles off the UK’s Suffolk coast.

ABP is to investment in construction of facilities and Lowestoft will play host to a fleet of high-speed offshore catamarans, capable of reaching the wind farm in approximately one hour.
