New record for Mediterranean crane size
Gioia Tauro has taken delivery of what it claims are the largest cranes in the Mediterranean.
The stunt was a promotion of the Bavaraia City Race that took place in the streets of Rotterdam later in the month.
Arriving on the Zhen Hua 8 last month, the four 1,700 tonne super post panamax cranes have a 23-container reach.
