No parking spaces at Barcelona
The partial collapse of the new Prat quay at the port of Barcelona in January 2006 has limited the amount of space now available for new vehicles traffic.
In 2007, the port handled 700,000 units, but the biggest new car facility, Autoterminal, is now having to turn away potential customers.
As a result, it is considering construction of additional vertical storage areas to meet demand.
