Port Strategy celebrates award winner
Port Strategy is delighted to announce that IHS Fairplay’s Baha Eksioglu scooped the Port Strategy Award at this year’s Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers’ annual prize giving ceremony in London.
Mr Eksioglu gained the highest marks in Port & Terminal Management in the Institute’s Qualifying Examinations.
Presenting the prize on behalf of Port Strategy, editor Carly Fields said: “Studying for professional examinations while in full time employment is challenging, so to have passed with the highest marks is a great achievement. We are proud to have sponsored the Award for Baha; he is indeed a worthy winner.”
The awards celebrate the highest achievers in the annual professional qualifying examinations.
This year, nearly 2,000 students sat more than 9,000 exam papers in 91 examination centres around the world. The subjects ranged from Introduction to Shipping, through Offshore Supply Industry to Maritime Law and Port Agency.
