Portek closes European office

Singapore-based Portek has closed its European office and shut down Portek Europe SA.

The Luxembourg-located subsidiary, which specialised in the sale, rent and maintenance of port equipment, has ceased operations as part of a rationalisation of the company’s activities in Europe.

Portek currently has 23 offices, including those in Indonesia, Algeria, Malta and Gabon, and is extending activities in Russia.
